Mary has years of experience in working with dually diagnosed clients (those with a mental disorder and substance abuse issues).  She is available for psychotherapy, individual and group counseling, family counseling, self-esteem building, inner child work, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, grief therapy, and/or relationship therapy.  Mary uses cognitive-behavioral and eclectic approaches in her work.  She is now also qualified as an EMDR therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing).  She is available for readings or counseling by appointment in the evenings or on weekends.  Please call (901) 550-7867 to schedule your appointment.

Mary Statum, Intuitive Reader

Mary has been active in the New Thought/Metaphysical community for over 30 years as an Intuitive Counselor and Palmist and reads for clients all across the country.  She has been aware of her abilities since childhood with precognitive dreams.  Mary taught herself palmistry in her early teens and utilizes both palmistry and cards in her readings.  She describes her readings as “a connecting of my spirit and spirit guides with those of the person I’m reading for.  It’s as if we drop the veil of separation for those few moments of time and become joined and I am honored with experiencing the client’s pain, trials and tribulations, joys and hopes.  I am often able to help the person move beyond fears and self-doubt and see the incredible potential within them that they cannot see for themselves.  My readings go with their own flow and can include visits from loved ones that have crossed over and/or channeling.”
